Each rune is specially burnt with the Futhark symbol, with 25 runes in each set including the blank rune. Only natural stain (linseed oil) is used to cure the runes, no varnish or unnatural substances. The branches are tempered by the elements of fire, water, earth, air, and time. Each set of runes is cut from the same branch in order to assure continuity. The magic of the oak is well placed in the cultures of Nordic, Wiccan, Druidic traditions. Each rune is wood burned into the wood.

The Story behind these runes is simple. Last Year during Hurricane Ike (i think it was Ike) we had lots of fallen trees and one of them was a young Oak tree. We decided instead of burning it to cut it into pieces and use those pieces for other things. We are still working with it but so far we have done up some Rune Sets. We do Plan to do Alter tiles and many other things. It just will take some time.
