Winners and Small Update

Well the Winners were picked and there Goddess Dolls are in the post.  I have 2 Custom Orders I will be working on this week. A Cloak and an Alter Cloth. I have been working on the side on my Costuming Portfolio I hope to have a very well compiled works within a few weeks. I hope to be able to use it to apply for some work. I am wanting to be able to work on a creative project of some sort.  I Have also been thinking about submitting my fantasy writings to a publisher. I am a little reserved about the idea of someone reading my novels. I write as a therapy outlet but I think people would really enjoy them. Then again I might start publishing them in e-book format who knows.

Rock Star Child Viking Hood

Over the break I have been working on a special project for my daughter. Its a viking style hood with lots of felt stars appliqued all over it. Since she desperately loves the guitar ever since she was 2 years old I decided to add a Guitar with wings onto the front. Not very period but I wanted to do something she would love. It has full of color and fits her personality.

Now to applique them on and finish up the hood. Finish Pics in a few days!

The Giving Bunny Project

Greetings everyone!
Over the holiday break Willow and her Daughter worked on 54 Bunnies to place around there local hospital. If you are not familiar with the Giving Bunny Project pop over to Urban Threads Blog and read about it!

New Years Goals

I normally dont do any goals or anything, I never seam to be able to keep them. This year is going to be diffrent. We need big changes and I have to be able to do better for my family.

• This year we will buy our own place. We plan to find at least 1-2 acres where we can set up a work shop and a place for Willow's mom. 
• New equipment: such as sewing machines and at least one embroidery and serger machine. 
• Garden Space- I really miss playing in the dirt.

Although these may not be very many goals these are the biggest and most desperately needing to do this year. Everything else will fall into place.

I dont like talking about how bad things are for us, it seams thats all there is lately. A nasty stalemate.  Well this year we plan to change it. We need it to change. 

As for Creativity Goals we plan to add Poppets, voodoo dolls, and many other great handmade items. 

Website has been updated to be able to accept Credit and Debit cards without using paypal or google checkout.
